Adult Sunday School
Whether a person was raised in a Christian faith or is just starting out, the best learning is done with others. We benefit from having a fun, relaxed environment where we can ask questions, share ideas, and feel supported. Our adult Sunday School meets in the Parlor September through June at 9:00 am.
Pastor's Bible Study
Pastor Sue hosts a weekly Bible Study on Wednesday mornings from 9:30-11:00 am via Zoom. During this gathering time we discuss the scriptures for the upcoming Sunday’s worship service. Here at First Presbyterian, we follow the Revised Common Lectionary (RCL). You might ask, “What is that?” The RCL is a three-year cycle of weekly Scripture readings and is built around the seasons of the Church Year. The Scripture consist of a reading from the Hebrew Bible, a Psalm, a reading from the Epistles, and a Gospel reading. Join us on Wednesday's morning and you will have a head start on what is preached on Sunday!
